Our main services are Film and Video Transfers, Contract Photography, Video Production, Video and Still Editing, Audio Recordings, Audio Mastering.
We are a diverse lot and can accommodate pretty well anything in audio visual realm.
What formats do you transfer from?

What is the best format to transfer to?
Changing technology is the whole reason that we have the need to digitise our video library in the first place. The idea behind transferring is to keep the past alive and healthy into the future, we recommend that you don’t go down the lossy path of down converting your original footage, rather keep a “master” high quality version and from that make the smaller more easily view able versions from that to look at on the computer or TV. Generations into the future will be able to see the original quality, as technology evolves.
Our recommendation is to have:
a “master” pro res 422 version.
a .mov, .mpg, H-264, or DVD low quality version, to watch on your TV or computer.
How much do you charge?
As the video transfer process involves a 1 to 1 download and then editing and conversion to final output. We have different prices depending on the tape type, rather than length.Our types and pricing can be found in the store.
Film Transfers are a bit different and is based on the size of the reels:
50ft-$30ea
100ft-$45ea
200ft- $75ea
400ft- $135ea
600ft- $185ea
800ft-$235ea
We do not charge a set up fee, and as a matter of course clean and re-splice any film needing repair as a partof our pricing.
How do I know what size my tape is?
Due to the complicated process of working out how much there really is recorded, we have opted for the blanket one price per tape option.

- E-120 – 2hr 04 min
- E-150 – 2hr 34 min
- E-180 – 3hr 04 min

- E-210 – 3hr 37 min
- E-240 – 4hr 08 min
- E-270 – 4hr 39 min
- E-300 – 5hr 10 min
Mini DV tapes are 60 min
Video8/Hi8 are:

- 2hrs 15 min
Digital 8 are 90min
Betamax:
- L-125 – 32 min
- L-166 – 43 min
- L-250 – 1hr 5 min
- L-370 – 1hr 36 min

What happens if i make a mistake?
If something doesn’t look right to us we will contact you at our earliest convenience and clarify.
The default transfer medium is DVD, so if you just send in one tape and don’t specify you would like it to, we will transfer it to DVD.
Do you transfer Movies and Music?
Due to copyright infringement, we do not transfer commercially available material.
In certain circumstances you can sign a copyright waiver, assuming copyright breach responsibility’s if we are unsure.
